American River FC (ARFC) is fundamentally changing Competitive Soccer in Northern California to a new and very exciting direction; focusing 100% on the players, parents, and families. As with many sports, Soccer, especially at the competitive level, has areas that need considerable improvement. After intently listening and taking into consideration the needs of parents, families, and most importantly the player, American River Youth Soccer League (ARYSL) believes we have a program that will change the competitive soccer world in a very fundamental, dynamic, and extremely positive way.

By focusing on the needs of our audience, we have built a program that takes into account financial burdens, time constraints, family time, school priorities, and the general physical and mental well being of the player. By developing a program that offers soccer at half the cost, practice facilities that are close in proximity and consistent throughout the year, coaches that stress fundamentals with advance teachings of both technical and tactical skills based on the age of the player, ARFC believes we have a program that is second to none.

ARFC is the Division 1 competitive soccer program for the ARYSL and is affiliated with both CYSA-North (USYS-USSF) and US Club Soccer. As we are members of USYS and US Club Soccer our members can participate in sanctioned events of either organization. Our membership is primarily from the communities of Fair Oaks, Folsom, Orangevale and Rancho Cordova and sections of Carmichael and Citrus Heights.
